A Wiggly Wobble

A Wiggly Wobble

In the play of random tours
A little inch she moves every day
With so much to explore
And many new people to connect
Communication is the key she believes
But she herself forgets to communicate
At the end of day,
When she misplaces her dream
She gathers her sleep
And does crumble on a bed or a chair.

A Template to See Beyond Words

Often in between of sentences

Some little words get diluted.

Such as the fear of losing

When they are infuriated,

A big tramp of depression

When they hysterically laughed,

A sour and distressful loneliness

Behind their arrogant behaviour,

*

That’s why

As we grow older

Sentences are lost in thoughts

And the only thing that matters

Is what words you utter!

The 20th poem on the 21st day in the series of NaPoWriMo 2018 challenge.

The song of the day is Iktara from a Hindi Film, Wake Up Sid. Not to mention, it is a Hindi song with deepest and meaningful lyrics.

If you have any thoughts, bring them on in the comment section.

Cut Down The Heat, I’m Getting Ice-Cream!

Cut Down The Heat, I’m Getting Ice-Cream!

The world is a giant floating

Scoop of ice-cream,

And the people take turns

To dive into it to get close to the high-end rim

*

It’s melting every second

Due to the big gasoline pipe emitting fire.

But these competitive bastards won’t save each other.

Instead, those crunchy biscuits they find.

*

Anyway, some drowned,

Some happily reached to high-end rims,

Some erroneously clayed themselves,

Some played… wohoo.. with their wings.

*

Ah… look, how adorable they are,

Coloured in pink except their pinky finger.

A splash of Liquid Nitrogen is dodged to freeze the moment

The cute little toys are ready for you all, forever!

This is the Fifth poem in the series of NaPoWriMo 2018 challenge. Like I always write, in a simile or metaphors.

The song of the day is a classic one to listen to. It’s Fooled Around and Fell in Love

Please read this poem without a blink and a thought. Perhaps, you could find some life in it. If yes, feel free to comment on how. If no, then let me know why!

Stupid Adam & Eve

30Apr- Stupid Adam & Eve

Stupid Adam & Eve

Adam and Eve

Went up the hill,

Loosen up their feet,

Lied down to chill;

*

Isolated from the world

To ignite the new relationship,

Work out on their problems

Dancing their heart out until they flipped;

*

They roll down to the ground.

Poor funny souls!

Want to be illogical,

And often laugh at each other’s faults!

*

They are mysterious not so grumpy.

Childish as they were before;

Now, who’s going to tell them

That they are in love?

Completing NaPoWriMo 2017 challenge with the 30th poem. It’s been a pleasure participating and even successfully completing the poetry month challenge four years straight in a row. I am sure that with this, I will get back enthusiasm and energy back for writing more and more, not just poetry but stories and even, a novel (ahh… a long time procrastinated dream)

Life: A Tied Game

29Apr - Life A Tied Game

Life: A Tied Game

In a tied game,

Ever wondered

Who’s winning

Or losing?

I,

For one,

Care no shit

But savour the tussle within!

The Charm of Her Presence

28Apr - The Charm of Her Presence

The Charm of Her Presence

Leave the stains of my blood,

You might want to get off,

Staring at him like that

Is going to cost you your nose;

*

Damn! She is beautiful.

And I missed what he blabbered,

Rage! Not recommended at this heated moment;

And here comes another punch like a hammer!

*

Had I gone blind?

His nose is bleeding while he stammers!

Oh, her magnificent eye’s so appreciative of you!

Hard to believe but now I kiss her.

A Human Side of the Devil

27Apr - A Human Side of The Devil

A Human Side of The Devil

A dexterous and an intelligent man,
Defamation defines him,
Purely sinister in his thoughts,
Yet, so innocent the world sees him;

*

He often takes out the grudge
So furiously and blatantly,
The evil of everyone’s mind he possessed,
And demolition charms his personality;

*

The people think of him as an animal,
Snubbed his best of the human,
Abused him for what he is,
But he exaggeratedly laughs at everyone;

*

Wait, wait, wait – for the beloved God
Kill that funny retard before a recess
Like the bolster in a fire,
Watch him burn to death and show your prowess!

A Dream Before You Sleep

21Apr - A Dream Before You Sleep

A Dream Before You Sleep

Oh the mammoth sun stroke

Has now dawned upon them!

And with a dull lackluster gesture,

The humongous monsters are snatching the gem.

*

The gullible prince of a red kingdom

Frowned upon the firefly

Which are gliding from the sky

The boy has shown the tenacious fight

Bleeding through those giants

But the flying creatures

Atrociously attacked him with the paced ride

*

Is he defeated,

The one with too many adversaries,

Lying there for them

To exhaust ‘your’ brain and energy?

*

Will you get up again

For another lime of time?

Could you count the number of smaller wins

Every time you stride?

Answer tomorrow, once you wake up

Rest till the end of this dusky night!
