Nocturnal’s 3 AM
Often, at three in the morning,
The norm of the silence
Takes over my panicky mind
Like the adrenaline
Rushes through the superlative thoughts
And lands straight to the ultimate desire
I would do anything,
Talk for hours,
Listen to the Bahamas,
Sleep during the shower,
Touch myself without feeling guilty,
Hush or shush my inside crier!
You would draw contours and conclude, “Happiness?”
I would retort, “What’s that, Hmmm?”
The miracle of felicity scents in striving.
Let this just be a struggle and keep mum!
Then the dawn emanates the horrendous scream of the world
Now I would sleep, my friend, until you come!
The 22nd poem on the 24th day in the series of NaPoWriMo 2018 challenge.
The song of the day is Sooha Saha from a Hindi film Highway.
Are you nocturnal? If yes, then you might have related to what I explained in the morning. Let me know in the comment section what do you do at 3 AM if you are awake.

The Selfish Lover
This word is going to be easy for you;
Because you’ve claimed it,
Some felt it,
Some used it,
Some trimmed it,
Some faked it,
Some jinxed it in their pocket
To serve it as a business;
Huh, it’s available in the market
In every ad and in the entire marketing syllabus.
But no matter, how much
It is overused and trashed,
You, still at the vulnerable but a hidden corner of your heart,
Would be growling on your knees,
Alas! We both know that
There is no one here in this vicinity.
Even if there was someone,
You’d miss a particular sense of purity
The introduction of innocence, a bit of sadness and humour.
Thus, creating a life with certain decency!
Let’s cut out this distance,
Get out of the ‘friendzy’-zone,
Pour some milk over this,
Drink it, sip it and turned up the nob,
Fizz out of your city,
Look out for me in all your ambiguity;
Because, I am stuck here, missing you,
This is the third poem in the series of NaPoWriMo 2018 challenge. I have been successfully participating in 30-Day poetry challenge since 2014.

The missed chance of
Another peaceful night
To sleep under the blanket
I chose to ride
For the illustrated silence
And a rendezvous with my secret side!
26th poem of NaPoWriMo 2017 series!

I Have A Doubt!
And there was a turn,
We looked so stale still ready to move,
Who’d have thought
We’d bag the tales of animals and a boon,
Play it to the tiny adults
And let them break their imagination to prove
That they have the power and the thoughts
To transform this abysmal society for good
And we thought of them as the chaos creators
And the overly exaggerated emotional kids, buhuhu!
Were we wrong?
Not in my view while living in the moment of truth!
Love, Is It?
It may seem
So accurate and perfect
But within the colored wall
It’s fallible but content
People tried many tricks
To fade the reality
But as per its mystic world
It spares some sanity
Oh, as some unwise people said
By living just one chapter
“It creates chaos and pain
Can hamper your personality and wonder”
But I beg to differ
By tasting just a significant drop of it
“It creates lots of drama
And you won’t care for any happy ending!”
This is 16th poem of this month NaPoWriMo 2016 challenge.

Oh, ahaan, ooooh
Hmmm, okay, hum, anyway,
Is it really going to be this long?
I mean I tried to finish this donut and stay!
I deflected all my thoughts,
Spelled the rhyming syllable,
But how would I take you down
From the mind and do something relatable?
I guess you & me, me & you
Are meant to be apart;
Oh Boredom, Oh Boredom,
I know that’s little harsh!
You know this small quote;
Life is too short to be bored!
So, let’s just hate each other
Say good bye and grow old!
This is seventh entry of NaPoWriMo challenge. The poem is inspired by many one including me and one special person. I always wanted to beat Boredom and I am glad I chose this path! So, how would you deal with boredom? Tell me on a comment section below.
