A Friendly Letter to Sun

Disappear, Disappear, Disappear

Oh, Sun!

Let the clouds breathe

Let them fly and you flee

The blue sky is hardly ever seen

Because you Sun

Is undeniably annoying and arrogant.

You burn the jungle, boil the river

And heat up the mountain

Have your started releasing mini-blasts of Hydrogen?

Don’t mind the silly question

It’s a theory we all have read!

But, seriously though

My girlfriend is pissed off

Thankfully, not on me, but on you dork!

It’s high time for you to reconsider the entire course.

Let the rain turn the knob for a change.

Oh, I know, I know

She’s just your ‘friend’!

But rekindling the relationship time to time can be fun

Would you be the dear

And at least, talk to her?

That’s it from my side.

I hope that we would soon enjoy the love-shower!

The fourteenth poem on the fifteenth day in the series of NaPoWriMo 2018 challenge. Another fun poem with a little bit of liberty to make the Sun fall in love with Rain.

The song of the day is Another Day of Sun from the La La Land movie Soundtrack. I am a huge fan of this film. The cinematography and choreography of the song is pleasing watch. One of the best opening shot in cinemas.

Read this poem. I wrote it for fun; you can read it seriously. Thought? Bring them on in the comment section.

The Mundane Tale of Summer

The Mundane Tale of Summer

One day, a giant amphibian,
At the door of the diabolic mountain,
Felt thirsty and hungry in the Western Ghats
While exploring the dense forest terrain.

It waited and prayed for the rains for years,
Crawling over every leaf, strolling at the edge of the slope.
The jungle has started drying, becoming brown,
So, it ran to the city with a hope.

After days of struggle, it realises
That a human had what it had desired
So, it offered its lifetime services
For a few drops of its life.

This is Seventh Poetry of NaPoWriMo 2018. This poem was written in the last 15 minutes of the day; hence, a straightforward poem with no metaphorical hints.

Please read it with some of your favourite amphibians in your mind. If you have something to say please write me in the comment section.

O Summer, Where Adventure Thou?

Clumsy desires

in your sweaty hands!

How long would you be standing there

to listen to the calling?

One Degree Celsius up,

One breath down!

How far would you be willing

to walk to put on the adventurous wearing?

NaPoWriMo 2018 is about to begin. Let’s roll up your sleeves.

Summer Holiday

12Apr - Summer Holiday

Summer Holiday

Higloo tigloo voluptuous breaks!

The summer is upon us,

Let’s usher them with all regards,

Play hero, write Cactus or seek Nostradamus

Frighty brighty Wohoo time!

Experience the ecstatic thrill within us,

Who let the mundane ugly torture prevail?

Send fire, stir black and live !

Nightmare Of A Summer Painter!

Nightmare Of A Summer Painter!

He was afraid

The pitch was going to be drained

Where time became irrelevant,

Vision had lost its lifetime fuel,

Lyrics of the prime song became insignificant

Bounded by explicit or maybe, implicit rule

The summer painter wondered all night

Thinking about the winter road,

Discoloring the substantial amount of ride

Just to sleep in the dream store

What to catch, where to hide

Struggling with overflow of ideas at the universe core!
