The Charm of Her Presence

28Apr - The Charm of Her Presence

The Charm of Her Presence

Leave the stains of my blood,

You might want to get off,

Staring at him like that

Is going to cost you your nose;

Damn! She is beautiful.

And I missed what he blabbered,

Rage! Not recommended at this heated moment;

And here comes another punch like a hammer!

Had I gone blind?

His nose is bleeding while he stammers!

Oh, her magnificent eye’s so appreciative of you!

Hard to believe but now I kiss her.

Helena Mccarthy has Attitude Problem

25Apr - Helena Mccarthy has an Attitude Problem

Helena Mccarthy has an Attitude Problem

Miss Helena Mccarthy,

A poster lady

In her sweet 30s,

Often shows up in her velvety gown

At her front door in the morning 7:30

Miss Helena Mccarthy,

A princess alike beauty,

Looks up for something

And gets disappointed to find nothing

In the entire territory

Miss Helena Mccarthy,

A hapless victim of this society,

May want to have a reason to say ‘Hi’

But gives up as they think she’s too sexy

Miss Helena Mccarthy,

Who’s taught to learn four languages

Only to communicate with her diary,

Dresses up every evening for an imaginary man

Who can at least say, “Dear Ms. Mccarthy!”

A Muse Amused

She smiles and shines

Like the club Havana,

Awe, her looks and photogenic attitude!

You’d never say ‘Na Na’;

She rules your mind

And walks in it like Cleopatra

The music fades away in a poised moment

When she fizzes your name in her strata

You may be beguiled to follow her

And can lead discover the nuances of ‘Dhoom-Tana’*

Then after the successful chase of your dream,

You ask yourself, “Was she the reason, yeah-huh?”

She, whom you called your muse,

Answers while swiftly hugging you with extra drama,

“You and I both followed our own path,

But you never cared to join mine, but still, love yaa!”

A Filament of Philosophy

He taps on everyone’s mind

And listens to what’s inside him;

She thinks of a leaf reaching to the ground

And tries to feel the texture in it;

A series of filaments

Keeps emitting the source of knowledge

Both unravels the idea attached

And transcends it into a creative phase

At times, they both smile

While watching the old memories

He ticks the box of chocolates,

She crunches the chocolate boxes;

Hindrance what they often used to find

Let it strain their hearts in agony

They forgot the meaning of those interactions

And immersed their heads in the ‘being practical’ philosophy!

Found You, Maybe!

Found You Maybe - 21

Found You, Maybe!

Chased you,

Crossed you,

Mimicked you,

Smiled at you,

Looked at you,

High on this passionate moment

But didn’t forget to blink at you,

Lifted my hand to touch you

Real, indeed real it is;

Those beautiful dazzling eyes of you!

I had to measure my height

So, came closer to you,

Just like the glorious historical tale,

Wondering what to say to you;

It was hell of heat out there

But I flickered to show my coolness to you;

Silly, it may be,

But you are the key to discover ‘me’,

Possibly, the dearest one,

Yes, you are the one!

Lost somewhere between pick and choose,

I, for the true love, finally kissed you!

21st poem of NaPoWriMo 2016 series!

How passionately you love! No matter how many times we write the same old love story it still feels refreshing every time. Does this remind you anything at all?

Just Listen To My Story…

Just Listen To My Story - 15

Pic Credit: Manga Art

Just Listen To My Story…

I’d like you to laugh

As hard as you can,

When I hysterically

Call out your name and stand;

You can pretend

To be really busy,

When I save few minutes

to talk and listen to your tale of bunny;

It will take no strings for you

To measure my heart,

When I wishfully cheer the song

You sang on the glazed turf;

Okay, easy-peasy,

I am not falling for you girl;

Because I am way out of your league

And you like your life to wave and swirl!

A Moment of Paper

Paper Story - 9.jpg

Oh paper slips into the wind

And flies like a plane;

It looks mad and little upset

Which creates the random strain;

Who would have thought

This girl would paint this paper with blood,

While penning the synopsis

Of her musical pathos and lyrical hum;

Once the paper got down to the ground,

It was happy on the tickling grassy floor

With lots of aroused amusement

And it started laughing to its core;

Well pity to that person

Who was not part of this cheerful moment;

Because she was busy tearing up this paper

For her black labeled past statement!

Simmy, You Are Here!

Simmy You Are Here

I can’t find it

In any of my stores

Those famous giggling

Sugar(ly) delicious chuckle of yours;

And when I put

A dent in my universe,

You gave a big 16 words lengthy speech;

Now, don’t call me a liar!

You may hide behind the phone

Thinking, you’re struggling with words, oh listener!

But out in this perky little window of mine,

Hey Simmy, you are here!

This is forth poem of #NaPoWriMo 2016 Challenge. Tell me what do you think about it? Is it a true story or I just made a bluff again? Have you ever found someone like that? Tell me in a comment section.

Where Are You, Now?

Waiting to Fall In Love Again

Where Are You, Now?

Waiting to see the moon turning blue again

Waiting to pick the flower with the fragrance of moon

Waiting to hear your favourite tune on guitar for the flowery hours

Waiting to fixate my eyes on phone while breaking the guitar

Waiting to go in the rain while dropping tears over the phone

Waiting to live in the moon again after the rain

Where are you, now?

Need Cappuccino?

Need Cappuccino

Day 29

Need Cappuccino?

I was little late

For the new chapter to begin,

Page after page, I turned over

But I got nothing;

Many fascinated coincidences

Were lined up in the congested life-lane

But every time it started with her smile

Ended with the twist in the tale;

At that moment, I seemed to be discouraged

With my devastated belief,

Back to back, two cups of cappuccino

And I was the man, ready to ride on wheels;

The chapter is new and fresh

But It needs a little polishing,

For the sake of rising again

I have to caress my music string!
