A Dream Before You Sleep

21Apr - A Dream Before You Sleep

A Dream Before You Sleep

Oh the mammoth sun stroke

Has now dawned upon them!

And with a dull lackluster gesture,

The humongous monsters are snatching the gem.

*

The gullible prince of a red kingdom

Frowned upon the firefly

Which are gliding from the sky

The boy has shown the tenacious fight

Bleeding through those giants

But the flying creatures

Atrociously attacked him with the paced ride

*

Is he defeated,

The one with too many adversaries,

Lying there for them

To exhaust ‘your’ brain and energy?

*

Will you get up again

For another lime of time?

Could you count the number of smaller wins

Every time you stride?

Answer tomorrow, once you wake up

Rest till the end of this dusky night!

I Write a Day

I Write a Day3

I Write a Day

Black angel

From the Mockingjay kingdom

Brought the delightful morning

By making a cup of coffee using memorandum;

*

I highlighted the absence of her

Attaching few drops of tears,

But she didn’t listen

And kept on making blood smears;

*

The waking up part was not so fancy,

It cracked the moon inside me.

I lied and cried for the twisted tale,

She poured a glass of wine beneath this half-grown tree;

*

I could have tried much harder

To reap the seed in a much better way,

I tossed up the coin under the blessing of her,

“Yet another choice, for just another day!”

Excerpts from a girl diary

Excerpts from a girl diary

Dear Diary,

<1>

You know when you watch a dream,

You want every single thing to be perfect.

It doesn’t matter it’s big or small,

You just have to keep pushing with your racket.

<2>

I have this very common dream like any other girl,

One day I want to become a queen.

Even though I am confused about my future

But I still want to flow with the stream.

<3>

I have very tiny, little feeling about him,

Ssshhh… He has no idea about all this.

You know like all boys, he is stupid,

So I play along and capture moments with him.

<4>

He seems very addressable to me

And also adorable when he looks at me.

I don’t know what he thinks about me

But I wish someday he would propose me.

<5>

Some days back he asked me for a coffee

But at the last moment, he called and said sorry.

I didn’t understand the whole incident,

Was it me or something really happened, oh darling!

<6>

I really wanted to skip this sad part

But oh dear, sweet diary, you have all rights to know.

So Other day, I was walking off the road, got a call

And I heard his voice, felt like someone played favourite song,

“I know you love me and I love you too

Please be happy, because I don’t live on earth anymore.”

<7>

Oh dear friend diary,

I can’t write much, I should better go now,

My tears are smudging my blood written words,

Just keep this secret inside you,

I had no choice but leave this lonely world.

Do Not Wake Her Up, She’s Asleep

Image

Do Not Wake Her Up, She’s Asleep!

A cup of coffee at the time of dawn

Recites her memory,

She goes through then

What to do today only,

Cohesiveness between work and time,

She knows better than anybody,

She replies as fast as she can

But shows her persona in anonymity.

Once in a while in a whole day,

She takes a nap with timer set on,

Works like a pure mechanical,

Still keeps her inside human alive, oh God!

She walks like a rail but talks like a breeze,

Always in hurry, ma’am, just hold on!

Back in the house when she finishes her day chart

And cheerfully sits like a queen on a chair with TV on,

A phone rings while her pearly eyes were closed.

Oh Come on, let her sleep, she will continue later on!

Blossoms in 2013 Winter 10

Image

Look back, oh dear!

In the brightness of this rainy evening

She was walking in her utter glory,

Her peach eyes were flashing colours of life,

She, a pluviophile, was rejoicing ‘Memory’.

In this breezy environ, down the street,

One red letterbox was placed at the corner,

The box read each sharing although there were only few

And everyday box waited for more stories through a letter.

With the reddish envelope on one hand

She put off her green handbag, oh dear!

Pieces of folding paper came out

And she sighed for the last time in tears.

Clouds had enough of hide and seek

And rainbow already signed, it was the time,

Rain drops started drizzling on the blue umbrella

And I saw her nearby mailbox with elegant smile.

She looked everywhere while pushing letter, no one was around,

I apperceived her enthralling beauty by standing right next to her,

She walked off with all excitement in her heart, oh love!

And I couldn’t even hold her and say,

“Oh dear, Just look back, I am here!”

Oh Loneliness, Dance with me

Image

Oh Loneliness, Dance with me!

Walking down the street,

Minding my own business,

Keeping the sound track on my head

And observing people appearance.

They all come and go,

Happy, sad or some familiar faces, you know,

Some might ignore you,

Some you want to ignore to,

Some would have two-face smile for you

But they all look good though.

One pearly eye girl

Sitting on the table, waiting, oh princess!

Behind your back

Some guys are talking like hell, oh my goodness!

What’s app girl, workaholic man,

Rough-tough dude is talking stupid and giggles.

Suddenly,

I stopped walking,

And those people around me,

Just paused for the same exact moment, amazing!

My nerve felt amused and blessed

Finally I burst out laughing

Got to know:

Either you walk with your world

Or you die lonely!

A Day off for a Busy Girl

Image

A Day off for a Busy Girl

A beautiful morning on a sunny day,

Chirping sound of the birds make her awake,

Souvenirs have blown through her mind

Half sleepy those two brown eyes

And the dark circles around it

Evidently reckons her tireless but promised life.

Rain drops keep falling on her head,

But she keeps rolling in her tinker tale,

Persistence have been riding through her time,

Monotonous working day spine

And her passionate, artistic charisma

Constantly paints her linear but coloured life.

Finally a holiday follows her day,

But she keeps rooting her ‘refuse to lose’ play,

‘No complaining, no excuses’ is written on her coin,

Ushering people with all her shine

And her focus for every moment

Pleasantly attributes her apprehensive but miraculous smile.
