Nocturnal’s 3 AM
Often, at three in the morning,
The norm of the silence
Takes over my panicky mind
Like the adrenaline
Rushes through the superlative thoughts
And lands straight to the ultimate desire
*
I would do anything,
Talk for hours,
Listen to the Bahamas,
Sleep during the shower,
Touch myself without feeling guilty,
Hush or shush my inside crier!
*
You would draw contours and conclude, “Happiness?”
I would retort, “What’s that, Hmmm?”
The miracle of felicity scents in striving.
Let this just be a struggle and keep mum!
Then the dawn emanates the horrendous scream of the world
Now I would sleep, my friend, until you come!
The 22nd poem on the 24th day in the series of NaPoWriMo 2018 challenge.
The song of the day is Sooha Saha from a Hindi film Highway.
Are you nocturnal? If yes, then you might have related to what I explained in the morning. Let me know in the comment section what do you do at 3 AM if you are awake.
It’s Coming!
It’s Coming
No wonder the sun shines upon my life,
And it was not ordinary;
I stumbled on the rising streak
And it was not timely;
Heads up fellas, it’s coming!
*
Heed the advice of an old tree,
Let the rain makes the decision;
Yet I am supposed to grow up in this heat
And trust on my words setting vision;
Heads up fellas, it’s coming!
*
Exemplary on its core of the curve
Who claims to read the nature of distinguishableness?
Right from the beginning it hid its identity
And here I am expressing indifferences;
Gear up fellas, it came!
*
Vindictive for the unaccountable truth,
Lack of empathy, no prayers are granted,
I, for the love of demon, pulverize those malicious souls
And won’t stop until all are obliterated!
Fellas, it’s a new beginning after doomsday!
