Cut Down the Heat, I’m Getting Ice-cream: Performing Poetry Video

Here is the video of fifth day poem written under NaPoWriMo 2018 challenge.

The poem describes my self-explanatory love for ice-cream 🍧🍧🍧 and adds some metaphors regarding global warming and the melting world.

Cut Down The Heat, I’m Getting Ice-Cream!

The world is a giant floating

Scoop of ice-cream,

And the people take turns

To dive into it to get close to the high-end rim

It’s melting every second

Due to the big gasoline pipe emitting fire.

But these competitive bastards won’t save each other.

Instead, those crunchy biscuits they find.

Anyway, some drowned,

Some happily reached to high-end rims,

Some erroneously clayed themselves,

Some played… wohoo.. with their wings.

Ah… look, how adorable they are,

Coloured in pink except their pinky finger.

A splash of Liquid Nitrogen is dodged to freeze the moment

The cute little toys are ready for you all, forever!

This is the Fifth poem in the series of NaPoWriMo 2018 challenge. Like I always write, in a simile or metaphors.

The song of the day is a classic one to listen to. It’s Fooled Around and Fell in Love

Please read this poem without a blink and a thought. Perhaps, you could find some life in it. If yes, feel free to comment on how. If no, then let me know why!
