Freaking Fat, Ferociously Failed!

A nice cheesy look

Of that creamy little pie,

Calling me by its name,

A temptation to attempt the sin and try;

A big fat birdy, sweet tooth – they called me.

That’s my old dumb life!

*

Now, I am on a path of change

To achieve the BNA (Brand New Attitude),

Running all around and trying not to stare at my waist.

“You need to lose your waist, dude!”

Thrashed my cinnamon green tea.

I stirred my anger in the peaceful rue!

*

I tripped on the highest tower,

Winged my body for the most difficult Yoga position.

If I had a fake nose now

I’d be called a clown or a magician.

That’s not what I wanted to infer,

But apparently, it’s the beer talking to my intuition!

*

Let it all come out in a big case of donuts,

A yellow cake and some alcohol!

“Focus, buddy, focus!”

My small-talk friend held me and made me whole!

She looked right at me and said,

“I am sorry. Do you need a compliment, you big fat bore?”

This is the Fourth poem in the series of NaPoWriMo 2018 challenge.

The song of the day is a little fun one (Maybe, you won’t like it) Do you love me

Please read this poem without a blink and a thought. Perhaps, you would relate to the hallucinating part! If yes, feel free to comment on how. If no, then let me know why!

An Advice from a Lonesome So-And-So

An Advice from a Lonesome So-And-So

Call me whiskers of thoughts

When you habitually fuss

About the little thing

In your life;

*

Call me the joy of melody

When you pray to God

For every little problem

In your tribe;

*

Call me randomly assorted

When you lost your way

During the undesirable and burdensome ride

Of your daily-life-routine cycle;

*

Call me an abstract simile

When you patiently wait

For your turn to come

Instead of the pathetic cry;

*

Call me the divine tango

When you push the red shining door

And after the thriving years of struggle,

You uninterruptedly fly!

This is the first poem in the series of this year’s NaPoWriMo challenge. I have been successfully participating in 30-Day poetry challenge since 2014.

Let’s give you a song link which I like very much and it could be related to the struggle of creating a song or of life. The song is A Big Bird in Small Cage

Please read this poem without a blink and a thought. Perhaps, it would lay the possible picture of your life and song! If yes, feel free to comment on how. If no, then let me know why!

A Dream Before You Sleep

21Apr - A Dream Before You Sleep

A Dream Before You Sleep

Oh the mammoth sun stroke

Has now dawned upon them!

And with a dull lackluster gesture,

The humongous monsters are snatching the gem.

*

The gullible prince of a red kingdom

Frowned upon the firefly

Which are gliding from the sky

The boy has shown the tenacious fight

Bleeding through those giants

But the flying creatures

Atrociously attacked him with the paced ride

*

Is he defeated,

The one with too many adversaries,

Lying there for them

To exhaust ‘your’ brain and energy?

*

Will you get up again

For another lime of time?

Could you count the number of smaller wins

Every time you stride?

Answer tomorrow, once you wake up

Rest till the end of this dusky night!

Spot The Butterfly

20Apr - Spot The Butterfly

Spot The Butterfly

No grumbling with a horrendous sound,

No whining about your pathetic life,

No defying the mundane drive,

No contemplation on how to get prize,

No flipper talks to boast about your intelligence,

No breaking into tears while you rise;

Because,

Today you are going to

Spot a Butterfly at a distance,

A butterfly, easy as ease,

A butterfly to observe the slow move,

A butterfly to embrace the silence,

A butterfly to focus on the syllable,

A butterfly to dismiss the past misery,

A butterfly to create the travesty,

 A butterfly to come out of the jar,

A butterfly to accept who you are!

Let’s Decide The Future

19Apr - Let's Decide The Future

Let’s Decide The Future

Hinged in the corner of the wall,

This picture will be clicked on the day

When I could embrace the anomalous gift in me

And transform it into wizard clay!

*

Here’s my dream,

Here are my conundrums,

Wild but gladly, unanswered;

Let me grieve on my past presently lumped!

The Emersion of A Superhero

The Emersion of A Superhero

When you are about

To fall into pessimistic scene,

You can let the tears roll to your eyelids

And come to me;

*

When you feel suffocated,

In the thought of hopeful green,

You can mend your height of popularity

And kneel to me;

*

When you whistle your way,

In the vicious circle to sing mephistophelean hymn,

You can bury your charm beneath your solace

And walk away from me!

Have you ever felt a SUPERHERO in you? The 18th poem of NaPoWriMo 2017 series!

Summer Holiday

12Apr - Summer Holiday

Summer Holiday

Higloo tigloo voluptuous breaks!

The summer is upon us,

Let’s usher them with all regards,

Play hero, write Cactus or seek Nostradamus

*

Frighty brighty Wohoo time!

Experience the ecstatic thrill within us,

Who let the mundane ugly torture prevail?

Send fire, stir black and live !
