Wake Me Up When Everyone Is Dead

I missed a few deadlines

Was busy disarranging some of the thoughts

It tied up with

What I do

And

What I am supposed to do

The creative curves were far from being smooth

The light moment I forbad cheering

And then,

One of my friends told me

That I complicate the simple thing

Reason?

I get bored

And can easily be distracted, in the name of Break

I was not that convinced

But for some reason, I nodded

Maybe, for the sake of friendship

It’s hard to keep up with the daily routine

When you have a million tasks in hand

And you take another million to engage

Having a social life comes as a privilege

But when it happens

I miss someone

Someone who is not here

Someone who is not willing to complete my sentence

Someone who never shares her deeper instincts

Someone who doesn’t talk much

Because I am still a stranger to her

And it’s true.

Despite this, she still comes as a song

Invigorate my mind to make me do wonder.

Also, she listens.

I guess she is not that bad.

But wait, I can’t think of her

I am not allowed to

There is an enormous amount of work to be commenced

And there’s money

There’s money

Which is hard to come by

Not everyone is willing to pay you for your hard work

I am literally fighting for every penny of mine

While continuously polishing my creative and artistic side.

And then,

The pressure of following up with the social stigma,

The political biases,

The religious disbelief,

News rants,

Everyone is literally flagging their self-bragging flyers online

Which says

“Like me, love me”

“Like me, love me”

“Like me, love me”

But unintentionally, I also beg people to like me

Yup, there is another factor needed to be considered

Despite your best effort in your desired field,

It’s important

That you promote yourself out there.

Their eyes should spot you dancing all the time

So that, they would throw some money

With the expectation

That I may make it double

With my splendid presentation.

It’s exasperating

Physically, mentally, spiritually and perhaps, universally

Oh yes, give me craps on the last word I used

You all so-called intellectual Nazi

I need to lie down

I need to lie down

I must sleep

My average sleep is 3-4 hours a day

I must sleep

I must sleep

Sleeping

Sleeping

I am not done, yet.

But for now, sleeping!

Wake me up when everyone is dead.

The song of the day is Sweet Dispositing from Tamper Trap. This is one of those songs which can go on in a loop and you won’t tired of it at all. I usually listen to it for the concentration.

You must read this poem without a hiccup in thoughts. If you have any thoughts please share in the comment section.

An Evening Full of Perspectives

16Apr - An Evening

An Evening Full of Perspectives

I saw the happenings,

In the light of unimaginative chaos;

They found the space in a terrace,

Ready to share ideas and swing it to the force;

What a hallucinating exercise we did,

It was simple, you liked so endorse!

*

The love, the pain,

The light in the rain,

The silence with the torch

Huddling through, still sane;

*

Reading out poem

Was not that difficult,

But to the group of unknown,

It was a risk of insult!

But they did it,

We did it,

I did it,

In the hope of being heard;

*

The evening was entangled,

In the momentous beat of emotion

Left us thinking

Was that them?

Was that us?

Was that I?

Now, let’s not go back to our gaudy concoction

With terrifying forceful dream of money making

And being tortured to keep this life in motion!

Nightmare Of A Summer Painter!

Nightmare Of A Summer Painter!

He was afraid

The pitch was going to be drained

Where time became irrelevant,

Vision had lost its lifetime fuel,

Lyrics of the prime song became insignificant

Bounded by explicit or maybe, implicit rule

*

The summer painter wondered all night

Thinking about the winter road,

Discoloring the substantial amount of ride

Just to sleep in the dream store

What to catch, where to hide

Struggling with overflow of ideas at the universe core!

The Characterization of an Artist

Artist's Character

Day 26

The Characterization of an Artist

You may find us

At many different places

Staring in your eyes

Showing emotions in bits and pieces

*

You may want to chat with us

After getting an exposure of our creativity

Which instantaneously gives

The quintessential way of seeing the life-theory

*

You may have a feeling for us

But we could often disappoint

On a mutual exchange

Of similar momentum within our heart

*

We smile, we clap

We become hyperactive, we are enthusiastic

But when and why?

Even we need to determine this understanding

*

You need to be careful with us

Because we trust on anybody so easy

And the covalent bond we create with you

You must not disgrace the meaning of it

Because that can ignite the new charismatic story

Which could implode the universe in our memory!
