An Advice from a Lonesome So-And-So

An Advice from a Lonesome So-And-So

Call me whiskers of thoughts

When you habitually fuss

About the little thing

In your life;

*

Call me the joy of melody

When you pray to God

For every little problem

In your tribe;

*

Call me randomly assorted

When you lost your way

During the undesirable and burdensome ride

Of your daily-life-routine cycle;

*

Call me an abstract simile

When you patiently wait

For your turn to come

Instead of the pathetic cry;

*

Call me the divine tango

When you push the red shining door

And after the thriving years of struggle,

You uninterruptedly fly!

This is the first poem in the series of this year’s NaPoWriMo challenge. I have been successfully participating in 30-Day poetry challenge since 2014.

Let’s give you a song link which I like very much and it could be related to the struggle of creating a song or of life. The song is A Big Bird in Small Cage

Please read this poem without a blink and a thought. Perhaps, it would lay the possible picture of your life and song! If yes, feel free to comment on how. If no, then let me know why!

An Awkward Confession

An Awkward Confession 10Aug2015

An Awkward Confession

The wire of sentiments

Are filled in the people’s heart

They teach you so many lessons

But failed to process on the real quad

*

While putting the armour around their waist

They seek to believe on all those positive signs,

But when it’s time to fight

They will run back to the simple life

*

Huh! It must’ve been hard to

Make a void in their loop

With a pint of truth and cowardliness

They seem to be happy by peeping through their hoop

*

Between ‘The Sour Taste of Success’

And ‘The Juicy Sweetness of Failure’

They choose nothing.

And they sing a wishful song during their tenure

*

You could sip your plain coffee

By ignoring a spoon with a big sugar cube

Just need a bit of courage to dream

and avoid the future-awkwardness of facing You?

I am a Thinking Cup

I am a Thinking Cup 11June15

I am a thinking cup

Silent, staring straight with a hoodie

I capture

Thoughts, words, memories;

A picture of you

And a cup of coffee

The last dance,

The rain with a singing lady,

A hideous horse rider, a ghost

And the science fiction story;

*

So don’t pinch me on my back

I might ignore you by mocking,

I’d disappoint you

If you were looking for a perfect answer from me,

I try to connect dots, fixate situations in mind

Contemplate conclusion out of misery,

Oh, do you misjudge me when I smiled at you

There is a whole different world inside me, just expressing;

Because I am always imagining

Right or wrong, what do I care?

I am just a thinking cup!

I Want to Follow the Rules

Last day of NaPoWriMo2015 Challenge and the score is 30/30. Challenge’s Nailed! 🙂

I So Want to Follow the Rules

Day 30

I so Want to Follow the Rules

What if

You go to top of the mountain

Take a sip of cranberry juice

And pour the rest on you to make a stain

*

What if

You go to office

Take ten grams of marijuana

And dance over your shit

*

What if

You go to some federal office

Take out some weird book with candles

Read out some black magic

*

I remembered

Those people told me to follow the rule

Then they went back to their strategy

And manipulate the terms with money-boom!

Need Cappuccino?

Need Cappuccino

Day 29

Need Cappuccino?

I was little late

For the new chapter to begin,

Page after page, I turned over

But I got nothing;

*

Many fascinated coincidences

Were lined up in the congested life-lane

But every time it started with her smile

Ended with the twist in the tale;

*

At that moment, I seemed to be discouraged

With my devastated belief,

Back to back, two cups of cappuccino

And I was the man, ready to ride on wheels;

*

The chapter is new and fresh

But It needs a little polishing,

For the sake of rising again

I have to caress my music string!

The Fountain, The Cloud & The Bridge

The poem is based on the prompt ‘Bridge’ given in NaPoWriMo Blog.

The Fountain The Cloud & The Bridge

Day 28

The Fountain, The Cloud & The Bridge

A long lost cloud

Touched the top mountain

Wishing to rain

On this precious fountain

*

Easy as it seemed

The memoirs of love remained in the heart

The sky became limited

Only the royal bridge could reach to the crust

*

 A bridge

That could associate two loved one

A bridge

That could connect the chanter

A bridge

That could enhance the possibilities of random outcome

A bridge

That could lead the history on memorandum

*

On the deep valley, under thousands of stars

The fountain is still waiting to be filled again

And within the miserable lane through the sky

The cloud is still looking for that bridge to rain!

Butterfly Boy

First time I have written a poem based pre-set prompt by NaPoWriMo. Today’s Prompt is hay(na)ku created by Eileen Tabios. So, here it is.

Journey to Survive

Day 27

Butterfly Boy

Mystery

Chases you,

Leading the sky

*

Reality

Teaches you

How to fly

*

Verity

Shows you

Nausea of lie

*

History

Makes you

Stronger than Butterfly

*

Dreamy

For you

But let’s try!
