Back to Normal
The last two days
Have been the tropic of exhaustion
With a little bit of physical discomfort
And the world of desperation.
Perhaps, one voice, one voice
I needed to disable my impatience
That one voice said, “It’s alright!”
And it straightened out my senses
The Tuesday night in the café
Among the crowd and my best friends,
I missed our first meeting
Maybe, the universe has listened to my prayers
She informed this morning
That she is coming here and leaving her city!
Hurray, this is 200th post of Poetry Jukebox. Let’s celebrate. Oh, I am having Biryani and Beer! You can have your own favourite. No treat, I am already broke! 🙂
The Thirteenth poem on the fourteenth day in the series of NaPoWriMo 2018 challenge. Yes, I missed one poem and she said, “It’s Okay!”
The song of the day is Fool Around and Fall in Love. The title of the song is quite clear but it’s classic.
Read this poem. I wrote it for fun; you can read it seriously. Thought? Bring them on in the comment section.
