Populace Don’t Roll A Dice

The great sense of sanity

In this iniquitous world

Is hard to come by

*

But Sam knew

*

That, in order to gain popularity,

Which starts with getting out of your turf,

One has to nullify

All the feelings

And, if needed, crucify it.

The pretentious ones often survived

The magical light

And the over-cheering crowd

With whom they can’t even meet their eyesight.

Public loves him without a doubt

Because he is disparate and will always be right!

*

Sam also knew

That he could never become sane!

The tenth poem in the series of NaPoWriMo 2018 challenge. This time popularity does something to Sam’s Personality and he understands it.

The song of the day is music score played in a Netflix series Bojack Horseman. The theme name is A Fish out of Water.
